LL Resources LLC has teamed up with a growing Engineering Firm in Eastern Florida near Melbourne, FL. They are searching for their next Civil Engineering Manager to help mentor junior and mid-level engineers within their firm.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design and develop drawings and reports for all market sectors.
• Design and analysis calculations for structural steel, masonry, concrete, aluminum, light-gauge steel, and timber.
• Communicate with architects, clients, contractors, engineers, fabricators, and owners.
• Provide field observations and onsite engineering assessments.
• Resolve conflicts through construction staff for design and construction.
• Manage and mentor junior engineers and mid-level engineers.
• Project management of construction projects including estimating, cost control, contractor management, and scheduling.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil/structural engineering.
• Professional Engineering (PE) License is required.
• 10+ years of experience as an engineer in design of structural infrastructure.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Revit design software.
• Experience with analysis software such as RAM elements, STAAD pro, RISA-3D, or Etabs.
• Knowledge of FEA, post-tensioning, progressive collapse, and blast analysis/design.
• Working knowledge of the process for governing permits such as building permits and/or environmental agencies.
• Experience with project management duties including estimating, cost control, contractor management, and scheduling.
