Crane Service Technician

We are partnering with a client to find talented professionals for the role of Crane Service Technician to join their team in the Rowley, MA area.
The Crane Service Technician will provide quality installation, inspections, maintenance, and repair service for hoist and crane equipment while upholding the highest level of professional integrity and ethics, which is required to instill customer confidence and ensure continued service success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service overhead crane systems and hoists by performing quality installations.
- Perform OSHA equivalent inspections; document and complete warranty work; troubleshoot breakdowns.
- Perform preventive maintenance and respond to emergency service/breakdown calls.
- Support customers by effectively interfacing with customers and the office in repairing equipment as needed.
- Perform electrical and /or mechanical adjustments or repairs with or without engineered drawings.
Experiences & Competencies Necessary for Success in Role:
- 2+ years of troubleshooting cranes and hoist equipment
- Proficiency with 3-phase motors, VFDs, contactors, circuits
- Experience with OSHA equivalent inspections
- Ability to work at height, in extreme temperatures, and meet physical demands
- Strong customer service, organizational, and communication skills
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record
- Owns hand tools and a meter
- Comfortable with physical demands
- Ability to work independently
- Results-driven with professional communication skills
