A leading manufacturing company with three facilities in McPherson, Kansas, including a plastics facility, a metals facility, and a distribution center. We are dedicated to delivering high-quality products while ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees and the environment. We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced EHS Lead to oversee all aspects of environmental, health, and safety across our McPherson facilities.

Responsibilities:

– Work with EHS Manager to identify hazards in the workplace
– Lead inspections and monitor safety plans
-Provide training to all employees and ensure that there is a focus around LOTO and electrical safety
-Collaborate with all levels of the organization to ensure a safety focused culture
-Provide coaching and training to EHS Specialists as well as coordinators and employees
-Minimize risk and identify areas for continuous improvement
-Lead the site wide EHS initiatives with the instruction of the EHS Manager
-Conduct audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

Experience:

-5-7 years’ experience in EHS preferably in a similar environment
-Strong understanding of OSHA regulations
-Ability to impact change and drive initiatives within the organization
-Overall knowledge of EHS, OSHA, EPA and other safety related requirements
