Our client, a Milwaukee-based manufacturing company, is seeking to fill a full time direct hire role of HR Manager – Benefits and Payroll. This onsite role will lead all aspects of payroll and benefits for the Milwaukee-based site and the administration of payroll and benefits for four additional US locations. Hybrid and remote options are not available for this managerial role.
**WHAT YOU WILL DO**
•Manage and administer all benefits programs including group health/dental, life, flexible spending, disability insurance, 401K, vacation, leave of absence, employee assistance, and COBRA for all US employees. Coordinate selection of new benefit vendors and annual renewals. Handle open enrollment.
•Oversee the company’s wellness program to ensure wellness initiatives are met and design new programs to promote health/wellness behavior lifestyles.
•Analyze claims experience and develop plan design changes for senior management.
•Administer employee compensation program including annual merit and bonus program, 401K plan, profit-sharing and sales commissions.
•Supervise one HR Generalist
Facilitate accurate and timely delivery of employer contributions and employee payroll.
**WHAT YOU WILL BRING**
•Bachelor’s degree required, PHR designation a plus, and 5+ years of payroll and benefits experience.
•Prior experience with manufacturing environments a plus.
•A strong benefits administration background, especially with prior experience with self-insured companies.
•Proficiency in payroll processing with Paylocity (or a similar system) is highly preferred.
•Previous experiences in building, maintaining, and progressing payroll and benefits systems and processes.
