Our client has retained us to find their next Logistic Engineer within the Racine, WI area. This candidate will identify, initiate, and deliver efficiency improvements in material handling throughout the plant.

Job Description for Logistic Engineer:

• Coordinate with procurement, maintenance, and quality control to meet safety, quality and delivery daily production goals.
• Work with Production Planning and Schedulers to revise production schedules and prioritize equipment failures.

• Manufactures sufficient quantities of quality products at or below budgeted production costs in order to meet marketplace demand. Follows established procedures to drive safety and continuous improvement in the plant’s CNC machining production processes.
• Coordinate with other departments on daily scheduling and prioritization of grey-iron machining and fabrication production.

Job Requirements for Logistic Engineer:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Systems, Logistics/Supply Chain, or other related technical field of study.
• Experience of Logistics or Manufacturing Engineering within a manufacturing setting.
• Experience with communication skills to engage employees at all levels of the organization.
