They are seeking a Machining Supervisor with Mastercam expertise to play a critical leadership role in this expanding operation. Role Overview:
The Machining Supervisor will lead a team of fewer than 10 CNC machining and laser cutting professionals in a job shop-style manufacturing setting. This individual will be hands-on in Mastercam programming and will drive improvements in productivity, efficiency, and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead & train a high-performing team of CNC and laser cutting professionals.
- Oversee daily production with a focus on quality, throughput, and continuous improvement.
- Optimize CNC programming using Mastercam to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Program/Nest laser cutting machines (Amada/Bystronic).
- Implement 5S and organizational improvements to streamline workflow.
- Manage tooling & scheduling, ensuring optimal resource utilization.
- Utilize ERP systems and MS Office tools for reporting and analysis.
What We’re Looking For:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a CNC Supervisor or Programmer role.
- Strong Mastercam programming skills (Fusion 360 experience is a plus).
- Knowledge of laser cutting systems (Amada/Bystronic) is preferred.
- Proven ability to lead, train, and motivate a team in a job shop style setting.
