Key Responsibilities:

• Automation Strategy: Lead the organization in planning, developing, and executing automation initiatives.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive efficiency in key automation processes, leveraging Lean/ operational excellence principles for enhanced material flow.
• Global Standards: Establish and implement standardized practices for manufacturing labor, machinery, and tooling worldwide.
• Project Management: Oversee multiple projects, ensuring timely completion and seamless team communication.
• 25% overnight travel expected: Support multiple manufacturing plants (stamping, injection molding, hardening, assembly, fabrication). See your solutions implemented across multiple facilities.

Qualifications:

• Experience in taking plants from good to great. Transformational experience in process improvement from an engineering perspective
• Interest in digging into processes, working with operators to find better and more efficient ways to produce finished durable goods.
• Analytical skills to take gathered information and find capital expenditures (capex) solutions, write proposals, and follow through with implemention
• Project Management skills to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
