Job Requirements for Quality Manager:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering
- 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance and 2+ years of experience in management within the manufacturing sector.
- Experience reading blueprints and shop prints.
- Experience with internal and external audits.
- Experience with the new part approval process and first article inspection.
- Experience with the IMDS- International Material Data System.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, CAD, and SolidWorks.
Job Description for Quality Manager:
- Ensure timely turnaround of first article samples.
- Lead, manage, and support the 2 Quality Inspectors.
- Develop efficient and effective internal procedures and processes for the quality team.
- Collaborate with customers in the United States and Asia markets to meet or exceed the company’s supply chain management performance metrics and requirements.
- Support the Asia office Quality Management in qualifying vendors and work to get customer approval.
- Perform domestic Supplier Quality Audits and provide support for the Asia Quality Manager.
- Maintain Quality Management Systems to ensure compliance with recent ISO 9001 standards.
