Our client is known for its high-quality products and services in the overhead material handling equipment industry. With over 45 years of industry experience, they are searching for a Service Supervisor within their Lafayette Facility.

Job Description for Service Supervisor:

• Ensuring the department exceeds all goals.
• Supervise and train Field Service Technicians that are relevant to all tasks and duties.
• Working with the Parts department for part orders for assigned service jobs.
• Maintain service on equipment to ensure all tools and equipment are running smoothly.
• Communicate with and understand the specialized needs of the customer.

Job Experience for Service Supervisor:

• 10 years of experience in field service in a heavy industrial environment.
• 3 years of experience managing employees within a maintenance or service department.
• Service experience working with customers in-person.
• Understanding of overhead cranes service requirements and warranty issues.
