Technical Sales Account Executive

Job Summary:

The Technical Sales Account Executive is responsible for managing and expanding sales within assigned accounts and strategically targeted accounts. This role leverages our client’s suite of manufacturing capabilities to meet the technical needs of our customers, supporting the Director of Sales by managing sales cycles, customer relationships, and internal coordination.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

•Manage customer accounts under the supervision of the Director of Sales, ensuring effective communication and problem-solving.

•Develop business with strategic target accounts, working closely with the Director of Sales to align strategies.

•Assist in the preparation and presentation of quotes and proposals, ensuring they meet company standards and customer requirements.

•Serve as a liaison between customers and internal teams such as Engineering and Quality Management to ensure client needs are addressed.

•Monitor and report on account status, providing regular updates to the Director of Sales.

•Support compliance with client’s Quality Management System (ISO/TS 16949, ISO 9001:2000), Environmental Management System (ISO 14001), and Lab Management System.

Qualifications Required:

•College degree or equivalent experience, with a technical degree preferred.

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in sales or engineering.

• Background in acoustics, NVH foam manufacturing, polymer technologies, or related technical industries is preferred.

•Experience with non-automotive OEMs, custom rubber, injection-molded plastics, or metal stamping is advantageous.

•Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.

•Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

•Patience and perseverance to manage long sales cycles.

•Strong technical acumen to understand complex product and technology applications.

•Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written.

•Proficient in program management and cross-functional collaboration.

•Autonomous, honest, hardworking, and goal-oriented.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. This position regularly requires long hours
