Job Description for Industrial Maintenance Technician:

Work with engineering and production teams to implement and improve automation processes.

What you’ll do:

In partnership with plant and safety management, plan, lead and participate in plant safety meetings
Implement, inspect, and maintain job site and office SDS manuals.
Train employees in SDS procedures
Provide and ensure compliance with information, signs, posters, barriers and other materials to warn of potential and actual safety hazards and to prevent access to hazardous conditions
Ensures the implementation, administration, and maintenance of all facility specific EHS programs
Assist and participate in all EHS continuous improvements initiatives relating to OSHA, EPA, and best management practices
Determine corrective or preventative measures, assign responsibility, and follow up to ensure the corrective measures have been implemented

Senior Buyer (Manufacturing)

Our client is a growing manufacturing company with a manufacturing and distribution facilities in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Come be part of a stable, rapidly evolving market leader!

Primary Responsibilities:

Reviews purchasing suggestions and issues purchase orders.
Researches and implements opportunities to reduce product costs and inventory investments.
Process monthly supplier scorecards.
Lead or function as a team member on cross-functional teams to develop and execute new product.
Manage day to day supplier interactions (ordering, delivery time, invoice payment) and coordinate issues with Sales team.
Update Epicor Horizon Report daily.
Back up to Jonesboro/Monette buyers and Jonesboro Freight Specialist.
Process DMR (rejects) by dispositioning material and coordinate with Accounting the issuance of debit memos to suppliers.
Execute Engineering change notices with suppliers.
Utilizing Buyer's Workbench follow up, confirm, expedite PO's on a daily basis.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree
1-2 years minimum in a manufacturing or production facility. More experience is very helpful
Must have the ability to handle complex problems, make sound decisions and work independently under the pressure of a heavy workload with significant time restrictions
Good understanding of the manufacturing process (from raw materials to finished goods), sound accounting principals, inventory control and document flow of import goods
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong working relationships
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to inform at all levels of the organization
